Sipas bankës europiane për rindërtim dhe zhvillim 60% e familjeve shqiptare i kanë ndjerë shumë efektet e krizës ekonomike dhe kjo është reflektuar në uljen e konsumit të produkteve të përditshme.<br />Përfaqësuesi I BERZH gjatë publikimit të raportit të tranzicionit për 2011-ën u shpreh se kriza ka prekur më tepër qytetarët duke nënvizuar se shifrat e produktit të brendshëm bruto në Shqipëri tregojnë të kundërtën e pretendimeve qeveritare. Pas parashikimit të FMN-së një ditë më parë se rritja ekonomike ne 2012 nuk do të jete më shumë se 0.5%, edhe BERZH konstaton se kjo rritje e vendit nuk do të jetë 1.2 % sa e kishte vleresuar ne fillim të vitit por më e ulët.
